About the Tournament
Each year more than 180,000 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in the United States alone.  In addition to these women, ALL of us will have someone we know and care for affected by the disease at some point in our lives.  In an effort to combat these statistics, the Acreage Girls Flag Football League set out in 2008 to raise money for a cure.  Surrounded by hundreds of strong, bright girls and women in our flag football league we began the first annual Susan G. Komen Flag Football Tournament to raise money for the cause. And currently we have expanded our tournament with the help of the boys & men of our community and joined forces with the American Cancer Society and together look forward look to finding a cure for all cancer. 
To date, the Acreage Girls Flag Football League has raised $103,000 in  fundraising to benefit the American Cancer Society. Congrats to Everyone!
