At Flags for the Cure, we're more than just a flag football tournament. We're a community-driven organization with a mission: to raise funds for the American Cancer Society and help find a cure for cancer. We believe that by coming together through the power of sports, we can make a difference in the lives of those battling this relentless disease.

 

Our story began in a backyard 17 years ago, born from a simple idea - to play football and raise money for a cause close to our hearts. Today, that idea has blossomed into a dynamic force for good, driven by people who have a genuine passion for sports and a deep commitment to giving back.

 

Who We Serve:

Flags for the Cure is for everyone who loves being active, from the age of 8 to 40 and beyond. Our community includes flag football players, sports enthusiasts, and companies that want to make a meaningful impact on our local community.

 

What We Do:

Our flagship event is a five-day flag football tournament, where athletes from across the community join hands to play their favorite sport and raise funds for the American Cancer Society. Over the years, we've raised over $340,000 to support cancer research and patient services. Last year alone, 72 teams came together to make a powerful difference.

We are a charity organization run by individuals deeply connected to the world of sports. We understand the power of teamwork and camaraderie, and we channel it into fighting cancer. Our commitment is personal and unwavering.
